been a rollercoaster for me so far... Old Dom/La Tech/Mid Tenn all not covering hurt me...
did great on BC/Ov ... gave most of it back on Vandy and Under... pisser is I went in to the day liking NC St.. oh well... still ahead in this new week... we march on!!
It's monday nite about 11pm west coast, I'll be bk in about 9 hrs... here's what I'm thinkin so far...
Tues gms:
Army (-11.5) v NTx .... total 48.5
would be surprised if NTx can stop them.... Army isn't gonna pass lol... much.
Play = Army TT Over (not posted yet on my site... pussies)
WFor v Temple (-12)... total 41
how much will Temple's coach departing impact their mental state? Temple was on a roll... WF no O, decent D...
Play = no play at this time
Wash St (-10) v Minn... total 61
Honestly I don't see how Minn has a chance... lost 2 starting DB's and 2 reserve DB's (from the suspensions).. and they're playing one of the most prolific pass offenses in the country... Minn (and the rest of the Big 10) don't play against these type of teams hardly EVER... they can't even have a realistic practice because they don't have players that can "pretend" to be the Wa St players because they don't have the quality WR's and QB that Wa St has.. so they really don't know what it looks like in real life/real speed until game time.. and Wa St coach isn't one to 'take it easy' on other tms.. they play and run their offense the whole gm.. can score in bunches..
Maybe they couldn't beat Wash Huskies, but I think da Gophers are gonna be in trouble.
Play = Wash St -9.5 (buy half)... BIG... will consider the total Over, decent weather in SD this wk, and Minn will be playing catchup
Baylor (+7.5) v Boise St... total 67.5
Boise is not as good as they have been for the last several yrs... but Baylor was really stinky in the 2 gms I saw them get demolished.. lack of effort, poise.. execution.
Yet, I'm seeing some of the "services" newsletters liking Baylor to stay close.... haven't heard anything about their "excitement level" going into this game... Boise, when given this extra time to prepare... is pretty much always ready to play, and will have some tricks too usually (as will Washington vs Bama.. hope they work lol).
And, they've got the total wayyy up at 67.5... hmmmm.. I wonder why...
Play = 1H Boise is my first gut thought... right now... gonna go read a bit, then sleep on it!
