2-0 yesterday with no WLA plays. Today there a several so I thought I would get them up and give you plenty of time to look them over. One of the most useless stats there is would be last year's ump stats (totals). Keep that in mind and it will save you some money.

tend to agree with you about last year's umpiring stats. with the league putting on the pressure to widen the strike zone and thereby shorten games, and at the same time the umps are in a precarious labor situation and worrying about their jobs. maybe some exceptions for the guys who were long-timers and vested in all of their retirements.

like the sf and hou unders. i know john hirschebeck let us down for a brief stretch towards the end of last season, but in my mind he is still one of the most reliable "under" umps around.
