Elvis,ones that smack you in the face many times have you frowning in the face later on.
Iowa on paper lost to texas by a few,NC a few,beat Louisville,etc.Iowa St spanked Drake,and Drake beat Akron by a few.
Lyr Iowa beat Drake by 18 or 20 pts.
But when I looked in my index cards on the Drake-Iowa series..every time Iowa comes to Des Moines.. Uh oh... Iowa is always much better talent wise,etc but.....has won 50-49,73-71 and 78-74. Drake has covered all those home games.And Iowa has had twice as much talent in those yrs.
Drake has all 5 returning players back.
I agree Iowa should win and cover.Breaking down players,style,speed,shooting,defense,etc,etc Iowa wins hands down.But all those close games at Drake, the story was the same.Iowa was much better...
Just be careful.I'm not saying they won't cover but Vegas knows what there doing.Everyone will be on Iowa tomr.the line will go up to -9 or even -10.
One of my favorite all time coaches is Tom Davis.I still can't believe he's at Drake.It's like Napolen on Elba or St Helena..
I'm leaning towards Iowa too tomr.But just be careful..if it looks to good.. it's usually not.
