MLB season: 52-58 +1.07 units
Early Tues leans:
**St Louis RL +170** (Big lean!)
-Morris has the stuff that can shut down the Astros righty bats. He is unreal at home this season. Miller is good but not nearly the equal of Morris in this one. Bullpen edge goes to St Louis as well.
White Sox +135
-Burba is one of the worst starters in the AL that has gotten by on luck and plenty of run support. Lowe has been very impressive so far.
Det/NYY over 9 -120
-Sparks got roughed up by the Yankees not too long ago and Pettite got roughed up by the Tigers in the same game. 9 is a low total for an AL game, much less one featuring these two starters against potent offenses. Detroit hits lefties well above average and the Yankees hit righties much better than lefties.
Balt/Tex under 11
Baltimore hitters struggle against righties. Helling has been pitching well and should be able to shut down the anemic Baltimore offense. Ponson, while not spectacular, should be able to put up a solid effort against a slumping Texas offense.
That's what I have come up with so far, Arizona run line and Seattle run line look tempting but dangerous. Be back tomorrow with selections. Let me know what you guys think.
