Trend: Edmonton (1-0-1) needed two goals in the final 10 minutes to tie Philadelphia before beating Nashville, 3-2.
Who's hot: After a breakthrough 33-goal effort last season as Doug Weight's replacement, C Mike Comrie netted the game-winning goal against Nashville.
Who's not: The Oilers in Dallas, where they are 1-15-2-0. Edmonton last won in Dallas on Jan. 17, 1996.
Notable: Keep an eye on rookie RW Ales Hemsky, who many think might be the next Oilers find. ... The Oilers have struggled on faceoffs just like the Stars, going 46-68 in two games.

Who's hot: G Marty Turco, who will start against Edmonton, is 1-0-1 with a 1.44 goals-against average and .955 save percentage. Turco is 1-1-0 career against the Oilers with a 1.00 GAA.
Who's not: RW Scott Young is looking for his first Stars point.
