SJ -110
over 5 Toro/TB -110
FL +108
LA +1/2
ATL +186
under 5.5 NYI/Colo -118
parlay: Colo -1/2 and Ott -1/2 (1 unit pays 1.50)
Article here sez Heatley playing in home town (he loves to score against Canadian teams), Snyder family will be in attendance (last time they were, ATL won at Toro), Savard's pumped to play first game against former team, and papers report Thrashers saying "this is desperation time". Even tho we may get Kipper in net, he should be pretty rusty. Calgary will be looking ahead to tomorrow's 4 point tilt against Vanc.
and that over 5 Calgary (over 11-3 last 13 games!) I should take...
NYI have played very good defense on road of late, esp against the better teams.
FL, I'm hoping they win another game with a new coach. They are practiced at this.
Toro and TB scoring is up and Belfour didn't make the trip---avg goal tending here....
RexB has good reasons for SJ in his thread. Also, they started out of the gate super strong last season after all star while Buff acted like they were still on a break--hope that holds this year...
LA has tied MN twice this season and 3-0-3 last six visits to MN. LA also 3-0-4-1 last 8 games on road this season.
almost took Pitt! they will be gunning hard not to set franchise record with 12th conseq loss and have beat Bost here this season.
I noticed last year in first games after break most went over or pushed.
Here are some numbers I found at another site (thanks 3 girls):
numbers for the road team in the last 5 years
2003: 6-1-1
2002: 3-1-2
2001: 3-2-3
2000: 6-0-2
1999: 5-2-2
5 year total: 23-6-10
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
3-4 Thurs , -0.11. and 4 losing days in row!
that takes it to +4.05 for the season, SU pics (81-71-5).
10 losing posts in last 28 and +21.44 in that run
parlay pics: 11-11, +0.96.
prop bets: 2-1-2, +0.69
all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
except one winning 2 unit pic (-102)
no chalk over -170
any comments?
good luck to all
