Both starters at Houston had rough preseasons. Five of last six meetings in Houston went over 8.5 (and 10 of last 12).
Both Schmidt and Eaton hit hard in spring training. And Schmidt has had a rocky April last three seasons.
Wakefield has some microscopic era at TB. And if bullpen must be used, the embarassment of last night should give them more focus. Tho when bullpen starts this act up, Wakefields likes to pitch a complete game for some reason.....Zambrano is good, and like Wakefield has been very strong this spring....let's hope Everitt behaves...
Garcia is now pitching well, and he's a streaky one. Plus, last three seasons his team was 11-3 with him starting as a road dog, up +10.80 units. Team 11-5 last three Aprils in his starts . Hudson is a slow starter, and his team is 3-2 in his starts last three seasons vs Mariners at Oak.
