Milwaukee at CINCY
  • MIL is 7-3 in Sheets last 10 starts
  • MIL is 7-4 when playing on Tuesday this season
  • CINC has lost seven straight, last 4 at home. CIN is also 7-25 at home for season.
  • SHEETS is 2-0 in last 3 starts, MIL is 2-1 in those games. ERA is 3.86 over that span.
  • Sheets is 3-2 on the road with 3.55 ERA while CIN is going with FIRST TIME STARTER.
  • MIL is 12-10 in Game 2 of series, while CINC is 6-16, and 2-7 after losing game 1.
  • The OVER is 3-1 in the last four meetings.
OVER is 5-2 in the Brewers last seven on the road, and 7-3 in CINC last ten overall.
  • For the season, CINC is batting a mere .242 at home vs RH and averaging 3.7 runs overall. HOWEVER, over last ten (with return of GRIF,LARKIN,BOONE, CINCY is batting .274 vs RH starters.

At this point, I'm just going to list the stats for the game and post my plays at the end, unless the play is obvious. I'm looking at playing MIL and OVER, but gonna check the HP UMP first.

looks like ump should be jeff nelson, he was 1b ump last night so should go behind the plate today...4-8 o/u so far this year. burnitz back in lineup, so is griffey in center, does griffey have the legs to run around there at full speed? he still looks hobbled running around out there, definitely like mil with sheets on the mound and the reds 7-25 at home, although the line seems to be going that way also

Philadelphia at PITTSBURGH
  • PHILA has won the last three meetings this season
  • PITT has won their last three games at home, and are 5-2 in their last seven games overall.
  • PHILA is 5-10 in June games this season, and 7-3 when playing on Tuesday this season
  • PHILA is 7-5 vs. left-handed starters, , 21-12 when playing against a team with a losing record
  • PITT is batting .220 on the year vs LH, and ONLY .182 vs LH in last ten. PHIL is only batting .246 on the road vs LH starter.
  • In first series at PHIL, BOTH games involving LH starter went under, with PITT scoring 2 runs total in those games.
  • BOTH pitchers have thrown well of late, CHEN is 1-0, team is 1-2, in his last 3 starts with ERA of 2.84. BIEMEL is 1-1, team is 1-2, is his last 3, and ERA of 3.77
  • BIEMEL has only gone 5, 5, and 4.33 innings in his 3 starts, and will be turning the ball over to a BP with an ERA of 5.14 overall, but only 3.86 ERA in last ten.
  • With a CG in last game, and two quaility starts before that, PITT BP was only used five innings in the CLEV series, and should be well rested.
Leaning to the UNDER at this point, possibly takin PITT as HOME DOG considering PHIL problems with LH on the road.

Montreal at NY METS

Skipping this game... first time starter going up against TERRIBLE TRASCHEL. Can't lay 150 with a guy who's 1-8 and getting shelled... NUMBERS point to OVER, considering the pitchers and 11 of last 15 at SHEA going that route, but 7 of last 8 meetings between these two have gone under, and UMP is UNDER 7 of 10 this year... PASS

  • NYY is 8-3 after a win in game two of a series, 15-7 overall in 2nd game, and 5-1 in their last six games overall. YANKS are only 2-6 on TUESDAY.
  • DET is 3-8 after a loss in game two of a series, 5-15 when playing against a team with a winning record, and 4-7 on TUESDAY
  • DET has played well vs YANKS at home going 9-4 over last 3 seasons, including 5-1 last season.
  • OVER is 6-1 in Sparks' last seven starts this season and is 7-0-1 in the last eight in Detroit
  • Keisler's last three starts this season played over
  • HP UMP is 9-4 HT and 8-5 OVER this season

DET is hitting LH pitching well recently, going .372 in last ten. YANKS are averaging nearly 6 runs per game over last ten. Leaning to the the OVER, but line has gone nuts. May pass.

Toronto at BALITIMORE
  • BALT is 21-13 when playing against a team with a losing record, but only 4-5 when playing on Tuesday, and 13-20 after a win.
  • TOR is 0-3 in their last three games overall, and are 3-6 in Hamilton's last nine starts
  • UNDER is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
Towers' last four starts this season played UNDER and UNDER is 7-2 in the last nine at Camden
Towers has pitched great so far, not having given up more than 2 runs in any start. OF course, BALT's bend-over-and-say-OUCH BP blew one of those for him. BALT is only batting .235 VS RH, and even worse, .217 at home vs RH. Going with the UNDER.

BALT UNDER 9 -120

Minnesota at CLEVELAND

Passing on this game... two slumping teams wanting to right the ship. Some trends pointing to UNDER, and with the division lead in balance, both teams may be tight. The under is 8-4 when the wind is between 10-20 mph. The last three meetings have played under. Colon's last four starts have played under. The under is 7-3 in Colon's last 10 starts this season. CLEV is also struggling against LH starters recently, but still pass at the 9 number. Better value to be found.

Not going to list all the reasoning here, time is short, but basically here's some facts. The over is 6-1 in the Smith's last seven starts, and 11-4-3 in the Braves last 18 home starts. Although the under is 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings, game went OVER yesterday, both BP's were used, and we have an OVER HP UMP at 8-5 with average of 11.31 runs per game.

FLORIDA OVER 9 EVEN

Hopefully all the work pays off!! A couple breaks wouldn't hurt.

No time to post info on 8-8:35 starts.
Adding these:

PASS ON CUBS and CWS games.

ANAHEIM -110 * See SWAMI under free picks *

Basically, BELL is making first start for TEX and he wasn't good in CINCY, how's he gonna pitch down south. SCOTT S. has pitched well for ANA and if the OFFENSE continues, ANA will make a move in wild card race.

on angels also, i think tex has one of their weaker lineups tonight with bo porter, mike young ricky ledee and mike lamb all in the lineup. might hedge a little with under in case, since schoenweis has been getting little run support lately

Seattle at OAKLAND
  • SEATTLE is 11-4 after a loss, 12-4 in June, 18-5 vs. division, 29-6 when playing against a team with a losing record, 7-4 when playing on Tuesday, and HAVE YET to lose 3 in a row all season.
  • OAKLAND is 8-15 vs. division, 7-4 when playing on Tuesday, and 7-9 in June.
  • SEA is 6-1 in Abbott's last seven starts,
5-2 in the seven meetings this year, and
is 5-1 after a loss in game two of a series.
  • UNDER is 20-9 for OAK at home this year, and is 8-1-1 in the A's last 10 overall
  • ABBOTT is 3-0 in last 3 starts with ERA of 1.83, and 3-1 overall on ROAD, ERA 4.97
  • HEREDIA is 3-0 at home with ERA of 3.00 in five starts, and is 1-0 in his last 3 with ERA of 3.38. OAK is 1-2 however in those three starts.
  • OAK is batting .203 overall in last ten, and just .216 vs RH starters in that span.
  • HP UMP is 7-7 for HT and 5-9 O/U, averaging only 8.21 runs per game.
SEA -135 and UNDER 9.5 -120

** Can't go against SEA at this point. NEVER having lost 3 in a row this year, OAK not hitting the ball, I have to go with SEA, and ride the UNDER train in OAK TOWN.

  • ARI is 8-1 in Johnson's last nine starts, and 8-1 in the last nine road games
    eek.gif
  • ARI is 9-2 when playing on Tuesday, 5-3 when playing with a day off, 11-5 in June, 36-20 vs. right-handed starters, 32-18 in night games, and 25-15 after a win.
  • LA is 24-11 at home, BUT 7-9 in JUNE, 8-11 vs LH, 2-9 on TUESDAYS, and 2-6 when playing with day off.
    rolleyes.gif
  • OVER is 6-2-1 in the last nine meetings,3-1 in Dreifort's last four starts, and 3-1 in LA's last four at home.
LA +180

JOHNSON has been nearly un-hittable lately and has dominated on the road. LA is slumping and there's trade rumors here in CALIF of them dealing Karros/Gagne to TEX for Palmeiro. WELL, these same two pitchers hooked up last year, and both went 7 innings, neither allowing a run, and the DODGERS won 1-0. JOHNSON, because he strikes out so many batters, throws a lot of pitches and therefore can't be expected to go nine. IT is there that I see the value in taking the huge number with a GOOD HOME TEAM, and hope the BIG UNIT is broke in half early.

Wow... was having a good nite when I left, sheesh. Doesn't pay to leave the house I guess. BOS was up 5-0, ANA leading 3-0, SF 2-0, I was thinking maybe I'd go 8-4 or something, 7-5 for sure. I get back to find a 4-8 nite????

Wow... wasn't exactly a turnaround.
