I put a W on GS under with 8 min to go in the 4th last night and then bit the nails off my left hand before the game was over. I told you that GS fades in the 4th but last night they faded like a dime store shirt in it's first washing.

With only 3 lines to work with this morning I think the totals look about right but both Sea and Utah show +1 adv's. The LA/Mil line looks pretty close to me. Be back when the rest of the games come out.

3-1 yesterday and leans go 5-2. "Screwy line of the day" award goes to.........Phoe +10'. I show this at no more than 8' and that don't take into consideration that Phoe just beat SA straight up as 5' point dogs. Revenge? If it had been a blow-out, then maybe. But it wasn't. At this time of year, Vegas don't make many mistakes so who are they after. I sorta think they might be trying to give SA players more confidence like they did with Phil players yesterday. Want to keep an eye on the line right up to game time. In the second half this game should never be in doubt reguardless of who wins. Now for the rest of my leans.

I feel that Mem can get 90 on Dal but that Dal can blow-out Mem. What I am afraid of is this. If Dal gets in front 15 or 20 points in the first half they might decide to coast or play the subs in the fourth. Then anything can happen. Besides, Dal hasn't scored over 112 in their last 8 games and I don't want to depend on Mem becoming a scoring machine tonight.

After the big trade, Dallas' subs are pretty good. On the other hand, if you take out the 33pts Memphis scored in the 3rd quarter, they scored 44pts. in 36 minutes last night. 205 under is the more likely scenario.

Phoenix game vs. SA wasn't a total blowout, but Suns did lead by 17 after 1 and controlled the game the whole way. I handicapped this game and liked Phoenix before seeing the line, expecting it to be around 8 like you said. I still played it at 10 1/2 but it does worry me a bit. Good luck today, Joe.
