This conference has always been tough to cap but this year is really off the charts for being difficult to predict. The perennial bottom feeders have pretty much all improved while some of the better programs over the years have taken a step back. This particular MAC card is rough, real rough to get a grip on so tread lightly.
Played and posted the first game yesterday:
Western Mich / Ohio under 153' (3)
This is still out there at this price and is trending up against my thoughts. Just thinking that Western is a below average offensive team in this conference and it's not in their best interest to run tonight. OU is wildly inconsistent and tough to figure
Ohio -5' (1)
Just the better team at home and although they have not fared well recently Western may be the tonic they need to right the ship. OU is a good FT shooting team as well which I like to see when laying points in what figures to be a reasonably close game.
Miami +1' vs Buffalo (1)
Bulls 1-6 on the road. Clash of styles as Buff is a top 50 possession team while Miami is near the bottom of that stat. Miami manages to stay in most of their games so taking a shot here on the home dog. Miami has played most of their recent games on the road and I think that they are a bit undervalued here. Buffalo is not a good defensive team so i give the Redhawks a good shot tonight. It's a game that no sane person would touch but I don't fit into that bunch so.....
