Tonight the Hoosiers Hit the road for their second roadie in Big 10 Play. They go to Columbus to take on the Buckeyes of Ohio State as a 2 point underdog. I have been leaning on taking the points and the Hoosiers for a small wager all day, BUT with the problems that I see ohio state giving IU in the frount court with 7 footer Velimir Radinovic and 6-9 Terrance Dials (making Ohio State one of the conferences best rebounding teams) I will be staying away from this one.
Defensively, the Hoosiers will also be trying to contain a couple of transfers that have stepped in and up for the Buckeyes this year. Former Clemson Tiger Tony Stockman has led the team in scoring with 13.1 ppg while Arkansas transfer J.J. Sullinger is right behind him with 10.3 ppg, but its their inside weapons that could cause the Hoosiers problems. Seven-footer Velimir Radinovic has teamed with 6?9 forward Terrance Dials to make the Buckeyes one of the league?s better rebounding teams and the Hoosiers are expecting the physical duo to try and attack their frontcourt.
With what I feel will be a rebounding edge to OSU and the home crowd to help fight what should come down to the wire.....this one is just to close to call. I will not make a wager on it, but sit back and cheer with a beer for the Hoosiers to remain atop the BIG 10 by going 3-1....
