Tonights Plays:

Michigan State -16 4 UNITS (buy a point)

Tenn Chat +10.5 3 UNITS

Was leaning towards LSU -7 but decided to play the two above only.

I really like Michigan State at home minus the points vs. South Florida. S. Fla has been beaten by 23 points at Nebraska and 24 at Providence. Michigan State has had arguably one of the toughest non-conference schedules in College Hoops. They lost @Kansas, to Duke, Oklahoma, and recently CBB new #1 Kentucky by 5 points. Izzo is a mastermind coach, who I am sure is frustrated but will soon see that his team will be very prepared for games vs. teams like this tonights as well as the tough confernce schedule that the Big Ten provides. After tonight they have UCLA on the road, Last years NCAA champ Syracuse and then open the conference vs. Last Years Big Ten Champ Wisconsin.....Unbelievable!!! But tonight Chris Hill and Paul Davis with the supporting cast of Alan Anderson, Shannon Brown, Kelvin Torbert and Maurice Ager will bring back some early excitement to the Home crowd. MSU rolls tonight as they take out some early season frustrations they have been dealt on an overmatched South Florida team.

Tenn Chat +10.5 points to a Bama team that hasn't beaten anyone (losing to their only two true opponets-Pitt and Prov). Last year they played in Alabama as well and Bama squeeked out a 6 point victory. This year I see the game being closer as the Mocs can be one of the more potent offensive teams in the country shooting 55% from the field, 41% from the arc and racking up an average of 95 points per game. Bama played very good defense in its last game and shot nearly 47% from the arc...BUT it was Austin Peay (who just doesn't have the shooting power that the Mocs have).

Back tomorrow,
