Constructive criticism. Hope you take it that way as I've had pretty good success in this.
Freeman is a pretty poor option. Lefty/Left matchup. He's a -35% ISO and WOBA against Lefties. Terrible ISO of .117 against lefties. Average .330 wOBA against lefties.
If you need to stay in that price range Adrian Gonzalez at $3700 and Hanley Ramirez at 3900 both have right/left left/right matchups. Both have ISO's over .225 and both WOBA's are better or at least similar to Freeman.
Beltre isn't terrible but again it's right/right and beltre has a nine percent drop off in ISO in those situations. My favorite play is Adonis Garcia. Should be low owned if you're playing a gpp and his right/left split is off the charts. 15% gain against lefties and a whopping .310 ISO. A sickening .412 WOBA as well. He's cheaper then beltre to open up more salary as well.
I'm not touching Trout til he shows me something. R/R split and wind popping to right field so he'd have to go opposite field to carry it out. Not like he can't but he hasn't paid for his price tag once this year. Love Cargo. Springer, Werth and Conforto are also really good options tonight.
I think Strasburg gets hit around tonight. Liriano is my favorite play on the board for the money. For mid range options I don't mind the two you have to pay up for some bats though.
