+3.7 units yesterday helping me get close to pulling my head above water again.

Season Overall 30-28-2 (-0.8 units)

Favs 11-14-1 (-6.65 units)
Dogs 8-7 (+1.85 units)
Overs 7-3-1 (+3.4 units)
Unders 4-4 (+0.6 units)

Niagra -6 ? 1 unit ? Niagra gets it done at home. Big comparison play here for me, as the Purple Eagles beat another MAC team, C. Mich., at home by 6 last Friday. Buffalo is far less talented than C. Mich. Niagra had trouble in the game on the boards (C. Mich had 15 on the offensive end!) as well as 16 to?s, but I?m going to attribute that to the fact they didn?t play any exhibition games and C. Mich. has an above average front-court. Not so much w/ Buffalo. Their win against USF isn?t as impressive to anyone that watched that game and saw how uninspired Gransberry was.

Dartmouth +16 ? 1 unit ? of course a terrible team from the Big East will win the matchup with a terrible team from the Ivy. 16 is too big of a # though in a low scoring game that I expect between these two. Also Rutgers has not rebounded well so far and that is one of the few things Dartmouth?s stats point to them having an advantage in for this game. Will wait as this line may grow though.

adding:

Minny +1 ? 1 unit ? another game that pits two teams picked towards the bottom of their respective conferences. I think Tubby has his team focused for their first road contest of the year. Wesley Johnson is listed as doubtful for the Cyclones and that definitely impacts their scoring and rebounding ability as he was one of the few bright-spots on their squad last year.

couple for Maui:

LSU/Cham. Under 139.5 ? 1 unit ? updated: 142 for 2 units - Chaminade typically has high scoring games in this tourney against D1 opponents. With LSU?s Tasmin Mitchell out, I look for this to be a lower scoring affair. Tiger?s were in catch-up mode yesterday against OSU and won?t play as up-tempo today imo. Playing in the earlier game today, I see them coming out sluggish. This line has been going up, so I may hold off a bit on placing the bet.

Marquette -2.5 ? 2 units ? updated: for 3 units - Chaminade?s Center gave Marquette a bit of trouble yesterday. OSU doesn?t have much of a front-court though. Marquette has guards talented enough to play good perimeter D on the Cowboys. Considering this larger, but I agree w/ big papi that this seems low and I don?t want to be getting into a trap here.

boy LSU can not play D. Actually hit the 2H Under (76.5) barely, but didn't get a chance to post the play. At least I mitigated my loss on that game.
