YTD 19-23 [-7.73]
Monday 0-1 (-2.50)
Barry Zito is single-handedly draining my gambling funds.......... :gf: Well, that and my own stupidity for not realizing the A's can't hit their weight.
Gonna try a few today to see if I can't get this thing turned around.
SEATTLE MARINERS (+115) Drese got bounced around pretty good by this same Mariners squad in Seattle earlier in the month, and historically struggles with this team. Also, his poor BB/K ratio is a concern. I think the Mariners are a pretty live puppy here........
HOUSTON ASTROS (-130) I can't see the Astros dropping two in a row to the Pirates, as Pettite has looked pretty sharp in his last couple of outings, and look for this to continue tonight against Kip Wells.
ST. LOUIS CARDINALS -1.5 (+108) I rarely play run lines, but Suppan has owned the Brewers, and just 10 days ago the Cards had their way with Doug Davis in Milwaukee. If his control problems continue, I can see this getting out of hand on him again.
ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS (+101) My ole pal Rusty is one scary dude. He is always behind in the count, and there are times he couldn't throw it in the ocean off the end of the pier......That being said, he somehow finds a way to get the job done. I'll take my chances with him in this spot against a Dodger team that seems to have fallen back to earth, and Scott Erickson who struggled against this same line-up earlier in the month.
Good Luck tonight Fellas,
Sharky
