Going out on a limb.

ND (+8.5) over LSU
Yes I know LSU has defense and a running game. I know ND has looked like a train wreck of late. I like the switch at QB considering Golston accounted for more than 22 turnovers as the season wound down. Kelly would be nothing if not a game planner. I would be absolutely gutted if they don't fix some issues on defense. Remember it was just more than a month ago this team could have beaten FSU. They have seen tough defenses and shown they can score. They have also shown they can stop people from scoring. Les miles has the stable of running backs that will slam the ball into ND mouth all night. The mad hatter has made no bones about leaning on the run and defense in this contest. Nd moves to its third string QB with mop up duty as his only experience but the line moves up a point? The majority of the world thinks the SEC is the best conference and after Arky to the long horns bollocks away john public loves some LSU. This is why I like ND to quietly play better than expected. LSU has been reading they are the far better team and will dominate. Not making them the hungriest lads at the table. ND is overrated to start almost every football season. That being said I think the are under valued in a game where LSU has to run, play great defense and lean on a QB that has struggled all season with consistency. Remember guys Kelly can get a lot from an average QB. He must like what he sees in this young guy and LSU has no tape on his tendencies.

Small play ND (ML)
Reg play Over 52

Maryland (+14) over Stanford
The terps are down right average. The QB is the leading rusher and the best WR is recovering from injury and may play. The terps play average defense. So why you ask? Vegas set this line at 14. They have seen steady Stanford money but no movement. Is Maryland such rubbish that Stanford (very underrated) only wins by two TDs? Stanford plays solid defense. Started playing better offense. Played tougher competition. Has the better skill positions players. Yet no movement. Not even a hook. So does Edsell have a plan to slow down Stanford while Brown scrapes together some first downs. Or does Maryland pull out all the stops and throw the entire play book at them like a kid playing John Madden football. I'm interested to see because I believe this should be all Stanford. Vegas believed it too as it was the highest line of all the bowl games when it came out. So I shall fall on my sword and stand ground with the turtles. Perhaps we can hide in our shells and lay in wait like the time we beat that pesky rabbit in a foot race. Slow and steady right? Perhaps this turtle has a little snap in it tonight.

I'm going to take it.
Georgia (-7) over L'ville
Was back and forth on this game all day. I like what the cards bring into this contest and I don't like the Georgia defense. Be that as it may, Louisville has questions at QB. Remember they had the starter go down in the last game with a slight knee injury. Dwyer the RB has been ruled out. Hey Dwyer spell screwed up a second chance. You can't can you. So the cards have a solid head coach. Perhaps he could pull a rip and quit for the nfl like he did a few years back during a halftime of the bowl. Georgia has talent on offense. They have a solid RB and weapons outside to keep the defense honest. The QB can make all the throws but are the dogs motivated. According to the coach and team they are and they want this game. I think Louisville has the edge on defensive. The oline of Georgia has to protect well and give this kid time to go down field. Louisville likes to force throws and they have a secondary to make you pay when you do. I watched a lot of Louisville and I think they can easily win this game. I think Georgia May be able to limit the cards running game and make the QB think about his knee. Should be a fun game to watch but I have a Chubb for Georgia and I think the cards will get over powered and then worm down as the game goes on. Both teams should score but Georgia gets it done on long drives wearing down the cards defensively. The dogs know they have to make drives count because they can be crushed by the run. After all Florida did smash them only throwing the ball like three times. Watch for some trickeration by Georgia on special teams and hopefully they get ahead and make the cards press.

Also
OVER 57 in this game.

ND (+7.5) over LSU 2H

ND has looked good moving the ball. LSU with 10 passing yards. The kick return helped LSU but ND has been moving the ball.
