KENTUCKY +10.5 (Ky has won 5 straight SEC games and won 5 straight vs Gators, Fla 4-1 L5 games, 0-5 L5 vs KY - Coaches familiar with each other's schemes, both former Pitino deciples, Coach Cal always seems to have his freshman crop ready this time of year for a drive and with the Cats size and athleticism, they should give the Gators fits, even in Gainesville, Murphy for FLA off ankle sprain, still not 100%, guard play will be key here and Boynton is one of the most eratic guards in the country, even with his speed, sometimes he outruns his dribbles, I can see KY winning this one straight up but have this as a 3-5 pt game, KY 78 FLA 73 are my numbers without any injuries coming into play)
MISSOURI ST +4.5 (This game looks too easy for the Sycamores to cover and blow out MO State, however Mo State at home plays very well and in this series the dog has covered 5 straight, and I have ISU only winning by 3, so let's hope a 3 pt'r don't fock this one up)
MICHIGAN ST +1.5 (Ok, one of the best games on the tube tonight? NO, there are two reallly good games, but I'll have this one on with my split screen, Izzo vs Coach "B", no match here, Coach "B" with all of his assistants and all of his men couldn't keep the Badgers from throwing in two over 40 ft 3 pointers, instead of fouling the man with the ball before he got a shot off to give them a win, Wolverines at Ohio State did the same thing, losing a close one. Matchups, Burke vs Appling, a no brainer, Appling with his "D" and ability to penetrate is much better than Burke trying to lay 3's on the Spartans with the tenacious "D" that MSU plays and they are at home. MSU 14-0 at home this year with ave margin of victory of 17 pts, even vs the non-conference wimps they played, this is a BIG10 matchup that features young players vs veterans, two good coaches, with one more of a strategist and the other a match maker, well this isn't a dating game coach "B", and the crowd will be into this one, I'm going with the home dog, MSU 71 Michigan 68)
GEORGIA -1.5 (I wanted coach Fox fired earlier in the year and for some odd reason his team has won 5 straight and has actually moved up in the SEC and they have been very good at home, even with all the empty seats in Athens. Alabama doesn't play on the road too well and coach Grant for some reason can't get his guys to stop shooting shots on the run, which quantifies as shitty shot selection, evidenced vs Tenn, Auburn and Vandy, albeit they beat Vandy but struggled to do so. Georgia and Bama both have beaten A&M and LSU, common opponents both at home, Dawgs won with better margin vs both of the aforementioned clubs, Dawgs hold their opponent to less than 38% FG percentage and Bama much higher at 42%, Dawgs shooting at 42% FG overall on the year but 48% last 5 games at home and giving up 28% FG to opponents last five, Dawgs win 57-51)
