gonna bite and go public with notre dame here, because i just dont see this one any other way. hate going with conference road chalk, but i think the irish, as brutal as theyve been on the road lately, can sneak out a win here. irish kinda leveling out right now. they were under the radar for the preseason and the regular season- but then got ranked too high, which ultimately led to them being overvalued the last month or so. now theyre back to a reasonable price, and should be able to get a win here.
cavs/hokies should be willing to go up and down the floor tonight. both teams are pretty poor defensively, and while this is a rivalry type game, its a non-conference game that normally isnt played with the same type of defensive passion as a conference game, because the stakes arent as high and the game doesnt matter as much in the grand scheme of things. thats not to lessen the rivalry here by any means. but middle of the season non-conf games are normally up-tempo games with more scoring.
