Tuesday episode of 24 was amazing!!

that episode of 24 was amazing....best episode of the season........man oh man......look at the storylines they got going now

and ya think Jack is dead If any show would kill off their main character with only 5 hours left it would be 24

but man oh man.....is Jack one tough cookie


and no Kim this hour......guess she finally got some sleep.........just an unbelievable episode......wow

I saw the rerun Monday afternoon at 6pm est. on FX.......not sure if this is the weekly replay time and date or not.......

Sorry to rain on your parade, and I admit I have been a big fan of "24." But the show is simply getting too ridiculous for words. Why did Jack keep the tracking device with him as he navigated the hospital - tossing it down at the last minute and then running. Why not throw it down a trash chute and run like hell? Plus, why not send some CTU guys or the like to the hospital to make sure that Jack and the chip actually get back? I mean it is not like they haven't had a steady stream of commandos trying to stop them for the last couple of hours. And then with the world on the brink of war, the Middle Eastern operative parks heading the wrong direction in a questionable area and waits longer than he was supposd to to meet up with Jack and deliver the evidence that might stop a war! They all know that time is of the essence; that the President of the United States os waiting for the information on the chip, and they act as though they have all the time in the world. I was waiting for Kim to get kidnapped for the 20th or 30th time, but I guess that will come later in the season. I still find it entertaining and will watch all of the shows, but this plot has lost all of its credibility long ago. But I guess that is why it is television. And if we have to see somebody naked, it damn well should be Kim and not Jack!

well Ferd........I disagree.......but I do agree......seeing Kim Naked would be much better.........

and FWIW....I find the show a little more plausible then you do, but I do admit some parts go far...............but ya have to admit the suspense is amazing.........just never know what is going to happen........and that's why 24 is best show on TV...and you have to admit........the acting, writing, and camera work are top notch

I guess when it comes to analyzing tv shows or movies, you really need to eliminate the thought of it being remotely plausable. After all, I stopped watching The Practice about 3 years ago because they never lost a case - never. At least on Law and Order they occasionally lose one. I never miss an NYPD Blue show, but it stretches the imagination to realize that everybody Andy comes in contact with eventually gets killed...and almost every other major character I can think of on the show has experienced the death of a loved one in the last 2 years! Criminal Intent is another one of my favorites, but the main character must be the smartest man in the world - he knows every language current or extinct; knows and understands the highest level of mathematics; has read every book ever written; etc. I'd say that Boomtown is probaby my favorite show. I also like The Shield - but it is (hopefully a little far from the truth). So, I guess my criticism of 24 is a little out of line. You are right that it does have all the elements to bring you back next week. And they do have enough decent looking women on, too! I promise to lay back and enjoy it instead of trying to look for the improbable things that are part and parcel of every show.
