<b>Montreal</b>----Hackett in goal, Red Fisher has piece on it here.......http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/canadiens/news/story.html?f=/news/20030107/030107News18850.html
Theodore have given up 14 in his last five starts, tho Hackett was smacked bad the last time he visited NJ.
<b>Bruins</b>----Be careful with Boston, they had one of those tough player only meetings that frequently shake things up.... "We had a little talk and things will change on Tuesday," said Joe Thornton, according to the Boston Globe. "Who knows what it is, but things will have to change."
Globe also reported yesterday " They all agreed the wheels have fallen off the bus. After an outstanding start, which had them atop the Eastern Conference, the Bruins reached rock bottom Saturday."
"In part because of the recent struggles, the club has changed its travel plans. Instead of coming home after the game in Toronto tomorrow, the team will stay away the whole week. The players will practice in Wilmington this morning and take a flight to Toronto this afternoon. After the game, they'll practice there Wednesday and Thursday and then will bus to Buffalo, where they'll face the Sabres Friday night. They're hoping there will be no distractions and it will give them a chance to right the ship."
<b>Buffalo</b>----Lorenz' column here sez Sabres going with same lineup that produced the win in Ott. Which means defense. And covers reports
The under is 11-6 in Sabres road games.
BUF is 5-13 ATS on the road this season.
The last six meetings have played under.
The under is 15-3 in Flyers home games.
PHI is 10-3 ATS in their last 13 overall.
PHI is 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings.
but Phila offense picking up of late...
rookie goalie Miller is now 3-2-0 in NHL, with the two losses coming in overtime.
<b>Los Angeles</b>----Kings got the win last night they should get, but did it with only 14 sog and had to kill 7 PP. Tonight is 4th game in 6 for them, also 3rd in 4, and back to back on road (first was at home)--teams in this situation winning just 15.38% this season, 4-18-4 (thanks Silent CDN).
<b>Calgary</b>---How far to ride the spark from new coach here? Maybe try tonight as home team is 1-5-4 SU last 10 meetings, Calgary 6-0 ATS last three seasons at Colorado.
<b>Nashville</b>---Lasak might start, he did ok in his lone meeting vs STL, gave up 3 goals on 42 shots, taking the loss. strong over trends here, sez covers
The over is 7-0-3 in the Blues last 10 overall.
The over is 4-0-1 in the Preds last five overall.
