YTD 9-2-1
yesterday 1-1
almost got a backdoor cover with drexel...would have been like stealing. They certainly didn't give up.
Going snowboarding early tomorrow, so might not be home to post.
UPENN -2.5 v. Princeton. Got this at wwts. the line has moved to -3 at canbet, and pinnacle, and i believed it opened at -2. so you might want to get at it early, i doubt this goes the other way. My numbers have PENN 10 points better than PU. Even with the home court, the line seams very strange. PENN is on spring break, so that might be a slight distraction, but Princeton started midterms on monday. (as nick bakay would say "push") The only thing i can think of is that PENN has wrapped up the IVY, and might come out unfocused. I just don't see that happening. PENN is riding one of the longest winning streaks in the country, they have a chance to go undefeated in the conference, and carry that momentum into the dance. If any team comes out unfocused it would be the tigers who have to deal with exams, their season is done.
Handicapping the game. UPENN is certainly the more talented team. Everyone knows the gameplan, but no one has stopped it. they have better athletes, and better shooters. In their previous meeting, PENN outrebounced the tigers by 14, and them under 35% shooting. In that game, the tigers had their best player, and leading scorer spencer gloger. Since then he has been suspended for academic issues. On saturday, the tigers starting guard, Will Venebal sprained his ankle, and may not play. I just don't see PENN coming out soft. everything points to an easy victory. but...they have to play the game.
GL, and good night.
