Some Pix for Todays Games...

Record 0-0-0

Yanks @ Jays ( Pettite vs Lidle)

Yanks looked strong yesterday but allowed the Jays 4 runs in the late innings in what should have been a shutout. No surprise Victory of course as Clemens is seeking #300. Today Corey Lidle takes the mound for the Jays and Pettite for the Yanks. Pettite is 13-6 Lifetime against the Jays and owned a 13.50 ERA last season. Although Lidle isn't as experianced as Pettite he has held the Yanks to a 2.45 ERA in 9 appearences and owns a 4-1 record. Don't think Jeter holds Yanks offense back to much considering 7 more runs were added after his departure. The Jays took 6 of 10 last year at home. Looking for Jays to take a late win against the Yanks

Prediction - Jays 9 - Yanks 7
Blue Jays ML +125

Rockies @ Astros (Jennings vs Oswalt)

Rookie Jason Jennings takes on Houstons Ace Roy Oswalt. Oswalt coming off a terrific year with a 19-9 record. Jason Jennings 2002 Rookie of the year 16-8 with a 4.52 ERA which is great considering he pitches for Colorado. Today however they meet at Minute Maid Park (Orange Juice anyone?) Roy Oswalt finished the year going 0-3 in his final three games. Oswalt is 2-0 Lifetime against the Rockies. Jennings will get his first ever start against the Astros which is a plus for Jennings. Although I don't see him as having another great year as often Rookies don't repeat back to back great years this will be a start Jennings looks forward to as few Astros has seen his pitches he holds an advantage to Oswalt as Rockies Preston Wilson, Larry Walker, Todd Helton, Jay Payton have seen his pitches and probably be able to spot which pitch is coming better than the Astros. Both pitchers got lit up during spring but i expect them to settle down not today though. Both teams won 3 last season out of 6 games played. Astros went 2-1 at home, however Astros have won 7 of the last 10 from the Rockies.

Prediction - Astros 8 Rockies 6
Over 8.5

Staying away from D'backs/LA, Boston/Tampa till I see were they are going, or Lou Piniella throws a base which ever comes first.

May add Texas/Angels, A's/M's later. GL Everyone

Adding

Seattle @ Oakland (Garcia vs Hudson)
This is the first time the Mariners will be playing without Lou Piniella, can new manager Bob Melvin keep this team in contention in the West? Freddy Garcia takes the mound for the M's tonight who is a 5-4 lifetime against the A's. Last year Garcia took 2 of those losses and one win going 1-2 with a hearty 8.27 ERA. Tim Hudson on the mound for the A's posted a 15-9 record last year with a 2.98 ERA. With Seattle taking the series last year 11-8 and winning 3 of the last 4 games. Oakland has dropped 7 of there past 9 Home Openers but was able to defeat a lousy Texas team last year. The M's will be away from Home for the first time in 9 years while losing 4 of the last 5 season openers. Think I'm gonna go with Oakland on this one.

Prediction Oakland 11 Seattle 8

Rangers @ Angels (C H Park vs Callaway)

Anegsl just didn't look a world series team champion on Sunday. Although Mike Sciocia will whip them back into shap tonight won't be the night. Chan Ho Park holds a 3-1 lifetime record vs the Angels. Callaway getting the start tonight in place of Aaron Sele who is on the DL. Calaway held a 4.19 ERA in 6 starts in 2002. Aneheim won 12 of 19 meetings last and 7 of 9 at Edison Field. Tonight shouldn't be one of those victories. The angels will be presented with their 2002 Worl Series Championship rings tonight. Look for the Rangers to put a damper on the ceromonie.

Prediction Texas 5 Angels 4

I'm also playing Giants over Padres but that's just because I am a Giants fan no Reasoning behind it.
Went 1-1 in this afternoons games with Hou/Col over 8.5 and Losing on the Yanks/Jays ML. GL to everyone hope we all win! :D
