* cavs sat james and ilgauskas for the entire 4th quarter last night in san antonio (as the game was out of reach) and they saved some legs for tonight. their playoff chances are dwindling, especially with this tough 3gm road swing. i think theyll run out of gas in the 2nd half but really feel like they could lead by 3 or 4 at halftime. would be surprised to see them get smacked in b2b games with so much at stake. theyre not gonna win the game, but the effort should be much improved from last nights debacle. and mavs D will be welcome sight after spurs stingy defense

* nuggs similar to the cavs. theyre just running out of steam and not playing their best basketball right now. denver still alive in the playoff race, but its clear theyre dropping like a bomb. cant lay chalk with them here, and seattle has been playing solid basketball of late.
