geo mason +3-: i'll take a chance on the patriots in this spot. gmu played this same flyer team in dayton last year and led by 4 with 2:30 to play before blowing the endgame. now they're catching points from dayton in the patriot center, where they're riding an 18 game winning streak and have won 29 out of 30 going back three years. we're catching gmu kinda bottomed out in a market sense so to speak. they've just run through 6 road games in a row, losing 4, including a 17 point spanking at gwu. a closer look reveals they played that game with 2 of 3 top scorers suspended for disciplinary reasons. coach larranaga's been around awhile and must of known what he was doing as they followed that game with a nicely played win at uncw, who hold a very tough homecourt. tonight will be the patriots first home game in three weeks, and i look for them to play to their home court form.
