Please keep in mind, I don't follow this sport very closely. However, tonight it appears the chalk has some serious advantages IMO.
Minnesota -115 for 2* - The sexy pick is the Penguins and I know Minnesota has injury issues tonight. However, I'll take the Wild at close to a pick'em at home.
Montreal -180 for 2* - Thrashers are the worst defensive team in hockey having allowed over 4 goals per game.
Detroit -185 for 2* - Tough to not back the best team in hockey at a decent price facing an Edmonton team that is 5-7, but struggling as they have been outscored by almost 1 goal per game.
St. Louis -180 for 2* - The Blues appear back early in the season as they are 6-3 while Phoenix is just 3-6 and not playing good hockey.
Calgary -180 for 2* - Nashville needs to play bad as I want their team to come to KC. They have to average 14,000 fans per game or they could become the KC Predators after this season.
I hate playing so much chalk, but this looks like a 4-1 night for the chalk... I'm hoping anyway!:00hour
