maryland+1.....maryland coming off a solid thumping of memphis on a neutral court, now travel to face the badgers, who are fresh off a nice visit to the west coast and a double digit loss to pepperdine. terps should be favored, badgers not the same without harris.
michigan state+7.....spartans look to finally get back to playing izzo ball.....defense and rebounding. duke living on past reputation and really haven't look that impressive.....well thumping tenn martin, unc greensboro, and the devry institute were solid wins.
minnesota-3.....much like wisconsin, the gophers have been in alaska way too long and this shoots my badger theory all to hell, however, florida state is just as travel weary, hanging out in corpus christi for thanksgiving and losing a couple of games in the process. minny is usually tough at home on the stage and this seminoles team has really struggle against weak competition. the gophers were very respectable in anchorage and i see value here in laying a small number against an fsu team that always struggles on the road. 2-12 straight up in their last 14 away games. i will bite.
tulsa+19.5......the hogs cover 3 straight in the virgin islands against winthrop, troy state, and e. mich and now all of a sudden they are laying almost 20 against one of their regional rivals...i don't think so. tulsa is down, but they should be able to compete and keep this one under the number. the razorbacks are still young and mistake prone. as long as tulsa doesn't try and make this a track meet then they should be fine.
strong lean with drake+8.....they have all 5 starters back and usually always play the hawkeyes tough. however, after their debacle against iowa state and the way iowa played on the islands, i must pass on this one.
illinois state-3.5....porter moser is most of the best young coaches in america that not many have heard of. he has 4 starters back and off to a reasonable 4-1 start. the flames had ga tech beat in the first game and vegas is still basing their numbers off that game. redbirds win this one at home by 6-8.
good luck
