7 teamer, pays 101 on 1 unit bet:
Chicago Cubs/Los Angeles Dodgers Under 7? (-110)
San Francisco Giants -135
Baltimore Orioles +127
Boston Red Sox -1? (+105)
New York Yankees -1? (-135)
San Diego Padres +105
Cleveland Indians -1? (-117)
N.Y. Yankees/Philadelphia--7:05 pm--Severino (Arrieta -- Jake with his 4.35 SIERA, and pitching like it lately, he should have a more decent stretch soon, given his decent skills, but he never gonna be Severino...Yanks pen and batting still in upper 3, and Severino and team always real tough in interleague play...NYY -1.5
Seattle/Baltimore--7:05 pm--Paxton (Gausman -- Paxton just a little bump of late, did settle in and very good after rough beginning in last start, those Bosox and NYY bats are tough, but Oriole bats coming around too of late, Mariners bats seem to be getting more inconsistent...Gausman could match Paxton here, but has worse pen, tho he is at home, so that Balt dog looks inticing....
Arizona/Miami--7:10 pm--Godley (Hernandez -- Godley decent of late, and should continue that was vs these Marlins. Marlins offense better of late, but that can happen on the road, esp when batting at Coors. The bats stink at home...Hernandez getting some luck, some of his starts better than his skills seem to indicate they'd be...I dunno, thinking AZ and under.
Pittsburgh/N.Y. Mets--7:10 pm--Kuhl (Matz -- Kuhl has been pretty decent, except last start. Some claim he was tipping his pitches. Whatever, I expect he can right the ship vs these bats, bats that did come alive at Coors, but will sink back to the old ways faster than you think...Matz not have the best stuff, but is better of late and Pirates' offense vs lefties has really stunk last month or so, he should be able to keep these bats down, I'm on the under...and as you always gotta look at betting against the Mets as they have lost 18 of last 22 games!
Oakland/Detroit--7:10 pm--Montas (Hardy -- both these starters can be similarly decent vs lessor bats, but Oakland's bats seem to be coming around of late, and Detroit bats not bad at home, so I do like the over.
L.A. Angels/Boston--7:10 pm--Lamb (Price -- Lamb had nice strikes in last start, but still not gonna go deep, Boston is tops for offense in home park (wOBA is .358) and Angels in a rough travel spot, having that one game in KC last night...Price off a loss and sub par outing, for him, so he should be more focused here - I am definitely on Boston Red Sox -1.5 (-110) take -2.5 for more value if you can get that...
Cincinnati/Atlanta--7:35 pm--Harvey (Sanchez -- I suspect Sanchez will not suck as bad as Harvey, but ya never know, dealing with dudes like this...That Reds offense has been on fire but Braves no slouches at home, but the price is a little dear...considering the heavy bullpen usage by both these teams of late, I do like that over!
San Diego/Texas--8:05 pm--Ross (Bibens-Dirkx -- Ross is getting a crack at the organization which let him go this spring 'cause they thought he sucked too much. ..while ?El Rubio? is off the only QS in MLB this year where the starter did not record a single strike out. In 20 outs vs KS. I can see such skills = ongoing success alright!!! Which one of these starter ya think gonna be real sharp today?...yeah, TX has gotten plenty of wins of late, but vs some bad teams and bad starters..SD bats not much of late, but now they in a much friendlier hitting park and pick up a DH...I'm on SD....
Kansas City/Milwaukee 8:10 pm--Junis (Peralta -- Junis who knows, probably get batted around and Peralta always unpredictable too, but these Royals bats are so poor, esp vs RHP and that travel last night, bad road team vs good home team, which will be energized by Shaw and Cain back (oops! he back on DL)...I'm on Brewers -1.5...also liking the under
Minnesota/Chi. White Sox--8:10 pm--Lynn (Lopez -- Lynn ERA fine of late, and last one was vs Bosox! but thAt 4.31 SIERA and other stuff pretty ugly. Lopez can sometimes get it together, and might today, but ya never know, I guess I'm staying away with all this potential for who knows what...
Toronto/Houston--8:10 pm--Borucki (Morton -- Borucki has speeded thru the minors after his TJ surgery, 13 starts in AAA this season, he was 6-5, has a 3.27 ERA, sports a 1.16 WHIP with that, getting 58 strikeouts across 77 innings. Ok fastball, fine changeup, meh slider...Morton's control has started to slip of late, 14 walks his last 3 starts, along with 5 hit batters. Hasn't affected the W/L yet, but Toronto bats could be the ones...no way gonna get infront of Astros winning juggernalt (should we just blindly bet the RL?), but I do like the over...
Cleveland/St. Louis--8:15 pm--Kluber (Martinez -- Kluber ace as always....Martinez has decent velocity still, but everything else since he's come off DL has not been decent. He's tried a few adjustments and new pitches, not working. No idea the problem, and he doesn't know either. Expecting that to continue and Cleve bats want to do some work after last night, so Cle -1.5
Chi. Cubs/L.A. Dodgers--10:10 pm--Lester (Stripling -- ESPN -- Lester most expected to blow up a while back, but he keeps getting the job done, and those Cubs bats in such a slumber...I'm on the under for sure.
Colorado/San Francisco--10:15 pm--Bettis (Holland -- Bettis sucked of late, but winning due to those bats backing him...Holland not suck as bad as late, and his team does bat for him too, and are better at home - so I'm on the over and SF
