I didn't bother reading some hometown newspapers and while listening to Stars pregame show on WBAP AM (signal comes all they way up here from Dallas!), they reported Craps owner called out team, bitched in newspapers and dragged 'em over the coals.
I knew then my Detroit pic in parlays was most probably lost, and more important---a nice dog bet slipped away unoticed!
did anyone see this story yesterday? No one mentioned it here I saw....for a team like Craps, this sort of thing will motivate them, like a players-only meeting early in season or a coaching change.
well, I did read the papers today and naturally the only important info I found was already mentioned by ddubs in his thread...

Oilers really pissed and should come out blasting vs team they dominate, but could easily see a tie here ( reg tie is +250 at thegreek).
Van should get it on. MTL basking in glow of a win not by hard and tough play to carry over in this game, but more by lucky bounces. MTL hasn't put together consecutive wins in over a month...
LA loves to play defense vs big name teams, and Chechmanek off poor start and backup's shutout--so he's got something to prove. Brodeur NHL leader at 1.68 gga.
0-2 yesterday -2.00 units....that takes it to -11.58 for the season (21-31-3). Uggh! working on that...
all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
except one winning 2 unit pic (-102)
no chalk over -170
parlay pics: 3-7 (had mistake in this w/l record last few postings), -4.04
