vcu is on the road @ george mason getting 4. gmu is 9-0 at home this season 4-2 ats.
but against the conference contenders, gmu has lost to both nc wilmington and delaware(as a road fav in both) and have yet to play w&m.
vcu on the other hand has beaten nc wilmington by 15(on the road), delaware by 21 and w&m by 14. they were favored in all three, and covered all three. they also have a quality w against maryland on a neutral court as a 4.5 dog.
vcu is on a monster roll, winning 12 of their last 13, 10-5-1 ats overall and 6-3 ats away from home.
vcu also handled gmu all three games last season including a mirror game almost a year to date @ gmu winning 75-62 as a 4 point dog.
i am sure gmu has had this game circled since the beginning of the season, but i believe vcu has been looking forward to it as well, with it being nationally televised (espn2)
a lot of people will be on gmu, but i feel i am getting points with the better team, and the line is more a reflection of gmu's home record, without the consideration of who they've played.
should be a helluva game either way.
