Going to the Blue Jays game with the girlfriend. Was very close to betting Over 9 runs @ -110 last night. But stayed off. Will just enjoy the game with no money on it. LETS GO DOC.

Have a project meeting from 1:30 - 2:30 so gonna post this now.

Early game:
Florida Marlins @ Chicago Cubs Under 8 Runs

Bought the half point hook. Would need 9 runs to take our money away.

Played $130 to win $100.

Numbers indicate an under from pitchers point of view. These two teams usually play over. Who will win ? I think Willis may pitch at least 8 innings. Zambrano shud be good for 6-7. Hopefully wont be screwed by the bullpen.

Dont like the under 3 1/2 runs for first 4 1/2 innings. Will buy the half point and play the full game.

I am assuming wind factor wont screw us.

Patterson not in lineup is good. Lot of cubbies strike out today.
Hope Zambrano does not walk more than 3 people. and scatters the walks. Joker has walked a lot of people.

Zambrano has not given up a HR in 5 straight games.
Willis has not given up a HR in last 4 games.

Zambrano has given up 1 HR in last 10 games.
Willis has given up 2 HR in last 10 games.

The under is 7-1 in Willis' last eight starts.
The under is 7-3 in Zambrano's last 10 starts.
The over is 8-1-1 in the last 10 meetings


Also going with

Philly @ Montreal Under 4 Runs for First 4 1/2 Innings

These two teams barely got a push yesterday. These two pitchers are much better than the pitchers yesterday and I expect a strong outing from both of them.

Good thing about playing the 4 1/2 innings totals in the NL is that the pitcher will have around 2 at bats. This helps the under since their slugging % is usually lower than the DH (this does not apply to Konerko).

New Umpire so dont know what to expect. Hopefully he gives fair number of strikes.

Myers has a 1.12 WHIP and ERA of 2.95 in last 3 games
Vargas has a 0.78 WHIP and 2.08 ERA in last 3 games

I know Montreal is batting well but I think that this will be a pitchers duel similar to the one betn Pedro and the Moose.

I expect around 0 or 2 runs to be scored in the first 4 1/2 innings.

counting:

everything points to an Over. That is precisely what scares me. Everyone and their mother will be on the Over.

Wakefield usually manages to fool Toronto bats for around 3-4 innings before collapsing. With the Moose holding Boston to 1 run yesterday Halladay is very much capable of doing the same.

Good thing is Delgado is playing.

Also everyone in Toronto knows the importance of the next 12 games. Huge article in The Toronto Star about this.

All 12 games are either with Boston or Yankee's. Will decide if Toronto can be in the wild card race or not.

With this in mind be prepared to see a more better effort. Also the comeback victory against Orioles must also boost their confidence a lot.

cant believe the totals man isnt playing the tor/bosox over...top two BA in the american league against two terrible bullpens..i figure we need 3 runs off each starter to have this game go over...which is well within the realm of possibility ...sox can hit halladay and toronto can hit wake on the road

Cooz & Woolf: Play these @ Bet365. Do not play it at Olympic. Lines are horrible there.

The only reason I am not playing the Over in the Toronto game is bcoz I am going to the game and dont want to be shouting madly when Boston scores like i did against Pittsburg last time

The problem i am having is the over looks to easy. No way Wakefield shuts out the Jays. Anything which looks too easy sometimes causes problems.

Stranger things have happened. Weather is sunny so the roof shud be open and ball shud carry. Humidity is not high.

One prop bet I have in mind in the Toronto game is :

More runs scored in last 4 1/2 innings of Game (over first 4 1/2) @ -120

Usually Halladay shud be effective in the initial innings. Same with Wakefield. He will be good for the first 3-4 innings. Then he will disintegrate.

Then when both bullpens step in we will have a 12 course meal.



Lets see how cubbies game goes.

One possibility in the cubs game is a rain shortened game. It's pretty gloomy here today, and they expect severe storms on and off all day. I hope they get it in, but we'll see. It hasn't rained yet this morning, but the clouds are rolling in.
