Thanks for the kudos last nite, guys. Looks like Lady Luck is back in my corner again after the shitty start of the season:kiss:. 1/3 of the way to the season goal of 75Units:Yep:. Big card tonite, but nothing I'm really excited about so far......

Ddubbs, I hope you don't mind, I am HOCKEY illiterate. I have jumped aboard a couple weeks ago and enjoyed the ride. You are one helluv a capper for hockey and we all envy you.

Basketball is my strength and area. Did real well college last year and a little less that break even in pro...come on over and join us. Maybe your success will rub off.

UMTC......thanks, appreciate the kind words. I'm just one lucky bastid, that's all. I had already given up on capping hoops and foots altogether since '01. Although I enjoy watching ALL the major sports, baseball, and especially hockey are the 2 I'm passionate about, and am successful in wagering in. The only reason I should post in the hoops and foots forum is for a good fade for you guys, LOL. I've resort to coat-tailing the studs in the other forums, and so far it has been very profitable for me:D.

This looks like my complete card for tonite, might add a total or 2, though. I hate big cards, rather have 5, 6 games on a given nite than 9, 10 like tonite:shrug:......

5Dimes offers funky lines like -1, -1.5, even -2. There're other books like that, but 5Dimes is the only outs I have that offers it.

Buffalo plays down to their oponents level, I would be careful first night back from a long road trip. They may be looking ahead to Leafs on Thursday. Rob Ray night tonight so expect some physicallity. :eek:

i would have been on Boston for sure tonight for 2 units tonight but Montreal should be focused after the ass smacking they took last night..

I am most likely going to put a unit on Boston ML though

:shrug:

I would have preferred to see Raycroft in net though:confused:

stomie......I hear ya about the Swords (here I go again with the names:p ). This would be purely a contrarian play for a unit. There're just way too many people on Minny, including consensus sites. Plus with the way the line moved, all the value has been sucked out of Minny as a dog, IMHO. My threshold is -110, if I can get Buff at -110, then I'm going for it just on principles alone:p

mugsy and Chenky......the way I see it, the B's are playing arguably the best hockey in the league right now, and are red hot just like last season's start. I'm gonna keep riding these guys when I see a decent value on the line. Potvin doesn't really worry me. Besides the clunker he had vs TB, he has been very strong in goal. The 3 goals he gave up in LA were all in the 1st period, all being short-handed, including a 5 on 3. The Habs will be playing B2B, OTR, 3rd in 4, and 4th in 6. Just got whipped by the physical FlyDudes, and now have to deal with the speedy Bruins after traveling back to Montreal. I think the B's have a very good chance of winning tonite. I just have a pet peeve about playing PL on the road team, which is also why I took Carolina on the PL, because they're at home.

Might play the Under5 in Phx after goalie confirmation, also.

FYI, Buff just got hit hard at Pinnacle the last few minutes.
