like i said, bases it the toughest sport to handicap, and there are tons of variables...
but, we keep on plugging away here...
still trying to get back 5 units, (from 12) that we had lost....and the saga continues...

yesterday: 0-2 ( boo to you...) - 2.00 UNITZ
overall : 57-49 (+2.30 unitz)

todays leans:

1) san fran OVER
2) new york Yanks
3) atlanta
4) KC/balt under
5) clev/minny OVER
6) CUBS
7) detroit/texas OVER
8) oakland (against saberhagen????cmon!!!)

any dogs...? maybe detroit after getting swept by oaklnad at home, but then again, texas got swept by boston on the road, and may wanna impress the home crowd.
maybe Toronto...? doc halliday is pitching against the stellar rookie starter Piniatta...

more info later.

nyanks Mike Mussina:
Team's record 13-10 MONEY: -$380

hmmmmmmmm...TB's getting killed by the yanks this season...? Maybe TB will get some revenge this time...?
I dunno, i like alot of better games out
there...

I dunno, after careful perusal, i don't like alot of the sides in today's games...
and when that happens, that means it's the DOG day.

1) taking IE's advice: TB/NYY OVER 9 -115
this number seems to be a little high as Mussina has been getting the snot kicked out of him lately.. Sturzte hasn't had much luck against the YANKS...EVER.

2) St.LOO/MONT : Under 8 -120
two hot pitchers of late.

yes, that can be disected two ways:

Detroit will continue the streak, OR Texas will finally win one...don't like THAT prospect.

like the over better in that one, but i'm managing my money this week.

Sticking to fewer games today.

FAWK!!!

I had two HUGE dog leans in TORONTO and TAMPA BAY, and I did not have the bawls to pull the trigger on either..!!!!

that hurts.

what hurts even more is the recap:

1) TB/YANKS over 9 : LOST -115
2) ST.LOO/MONT under 8 : WON +100

and here's where it hurts the MOST:

3) BALT UNDER 9 : LOST -105 (score 7-3)
4) CLEV OVER 9.5 : LOST -115 (score 7-2)

record: 1-3 (-2.35 UNITZ)

OVERALL: 58-52 (-0.05 unitz)

SPANKY2, i don't know if you read one of my older posts, but i stated, now that the Blue Jays management have officially thrown in the towel, watch for them to go on a hot streak now...win about 10 in a row..get back into the wild card race..let all the fans get excited and then self-destruct in september...the same thing's happened the last 2 years or so...
