and once again, i am quite happy that I bet the runline for oakland and didn't lose a mint.
like i've said, if the fawking team that's favoured by THAT much can't win by two then they don't deserve to win and it'll teach me to pick my games betterand be weary of high chalk games.

Carpenter was save by the double play 5!
oakland didn't deserve to win they had so many opportunities to kill toronto and didn't capitalise.
Carpenter was not impresive at all i'll remember this for is next start.
I went oakland and the over and would do the same thing again....

Susan and others--

A lot of bullpen was used tonight by a lot of teams: Red Sox, Tribe, Brewers, Bravos, DBacks, Dodgers and more.
Now given the stupid ass managers propensity to micromanage and pull starters at all the wrong times, this might be a good thing and not a bad thing. However, I think we might see a few more overs tomorrow.
Early leans would be to playing Daal, Rockies, Rocks/Bravos over, Schilling on the runline 'cuz he'll keep it together and Williams will not, Mays/Finley over with one pitcher 1-5 or so recently and the other bouncing off the DL, and Garcia and the M's as the Play of the Week (see below)
Boston IP H R ER BB K HR BFP Pit B-S ERA OpBA
Nomo 5 6 2 2 2 8 1 23 92 40-52 4.08 .216
Garces 2 1 0 0 1 2 0 7 28 11-17 2.94 .199
Urbina 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 4 16 8-8 0.00 .167
D.Lowe (BS 4) 0 3 1 1 0 0 0 3 13 3-10 4.02 .291
Fossum 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 3 11 4-7 0.93 .182
Beck (L 5-4) 2 4 3 3 1 2 1 10 37 9-28 3.72 .244
D.Lowe pitched to 3 batters in the 9th.
