YTD: 17-9-2
Siena showed a lot of poise in last weekends 74-61 loss at Syracuse in front of 17K Orangemen fans at the Dome. The Saints have lost five straight but played some decent teams...Toledo, Niagara...while Delaware hasn't really played anyone of note yet.
Delaware is 0-2 ATS at home while Siena is 2-1 ATS away. Due to a break for exams, Delaware hasn't played since their loss at Rider ten days ago and is bound to come out a little flat. In the game at Rider, pg Mike Slattery sprained his ankle and didn't play in the 2H but he's probable for Tuesdays game. And VT transfer Harding Nana is eligible too, but I don't think he'll make a difference.
The clincher: Delaware only recently beat the worst MAAC team, Loyola-MD, in Newark by five, 76-71.
Home crowd should be sparse as students have left for the break.
Siena is on a bit of a tough streak but they're a good team and they should stay close in this one and very possibly get the win especially if Delaware starts out slow due to their ten day layoff.
