MIAMI PK & Under 68.5 ** DOUBLE PLAY **

Seems to be a popular play, which tends to scare me :scared but I think TOLEDO's run of covering stops right here with the MIAMI defense. The ROCKETS can't stop anyone as evidenced by them giving up an average of 47.75 ppg on the road, and I don't see them being able to match pts with MIAMI here. I doubt if MIAMI will try and get into a scoring duel with the explosive ROCKETS, I see more of a control type game from them. TOLEDO gives up an average of 4.9 ypr and MIAMI should be willing to run the ball to keep their DEFENSE rested, especially against a ROCKET offense that averages nearly 300 per game thru the air.

If TOLEDO can't stop the run, I see the ROCKETS crashing back down to earth and losing their first conference game of the year.....

Sidenote: Only one game in MIAMI has gone over 60 and that was vs KENT ST. MIAMI DEF is giving up an average of 13 pts per game at home.... let the DEFENSE rest should be their motto tonite!

Think I'm playing MIA and OVER here. Nobody is defending in this one, and it looks like MIAMI wants to throw as much as the ROCKETS....

Any thoughts????

I think MIAM wins the game, they should have scored at the end of half. Lots of gambles being taken in this one, so I think we see a lot of scoring in 2H of this one.... will sit on my teaser to win with MIAMI, and hope they don't score more than 42!

Rander - I dont know what game you are watching, but the score is 13-13. This indicates some pretty low scoring IMO...

And yes ICEPICKS, most of those at HT, with some teasers tossed in. In regards to your question, I watched two teams in the FH that were taking chances, throwing downfield and doing little running. Granted, with the wind, it was difficult to score, but I felt we'd see more scoring in 2H of this one due to turnovers leading to scores, not stopping them.

If I'm not mistaken, MIAMI threw for nearly 300 yards and rushed for 76, while TOLEDO was balanced at 177 rushing and 203 passing. That many yards combined with 7 fumbles and 1 INT normally add up to points... just not this time.

Not bagging on you ICEPICKS, so don't take it that way, I just don't see how you think 26 pts in the FH with two missed XPTS and a missed FG/TD opportunity by MIAMI constitutes a LOW SCORING game.... difference of opinion I guess, and that's ok....

BTW - I was watching the PISTONS a bit too much probably too! BUT, I went 6-2 in NBA so it was worth watching!
