Boston without Thornton. Have not been playing well recently. Eddie the Eagle has been stellar. In 9 games against Boston Eddie has shut them out twice including last time out in November. He did give up 4 goals to them in Oct .. 3 in the second period but that was the beginning of the season and he was getting used to Toronto defence (which was non existent @ that time). I think Eddie shuts out Boston again.

Boston goaltending has not been stellar. I am hoping that with Thornton out they will pay more attention to defence. I think Toronto scores 2 goals in this one.

NJ Devils Under 3 Goals for 2%
NJ is averaging 1.4 goals in last 5 games. Montreal has allowed 3 goals per game in last 5 games. They gave up 5 goals to Oilers in a heartbreaking loss to Oilers. They also faced Vancouver, Pittsburg and Ottowa in last 5 games .. all these teams are big offensive teams.
After the loss to Jersey 5 - 1 in last meeting Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said his team played without pride and general manager Andre Savard took it a step further, holding a closed-door meeting the following afternoon.
I am sure the memory is alive in the Candiens players.
Theodore has faced Jersey 10 times and has allowed more than 3 goals twice. I will take the % and play the Under 3 Goals for NJ.
Montreal @ NJ Devils Under 5 Goals for 1.5%
Brodeur has been tending well. HE has good numbers against Montreal. I think this game ends in a 2 - 1 Devils win. In last 5 Montreal is scoring 2.2 goals per game while the Devils have allowed 1 goal per game.
