Not too big on the college football games but I am gonna give a few games a try today.

Of the few games i have picked this season I am 4-2.

Georgia Tech -6.5

Six Fresno State players hvae been declared ineligible for today's game. Including Nick Burley a defensive end who leads the team in sacks and tackles for a loss.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Six Fresno State players are ineligible for Tuesday's Silicon Valley Football Classic because of academic problems.

A new Western Athletic Conference rule requires athletes to pass at least six credits to play in a bowl game.

Six players fall short of that requirement, the school said. The Fresno Bee reported that they are defensive end Nick Burley, linebacker Sam Williams, wide receiver Marque Davis, cornerback Demorieux Reneau, left guard Fitu Tu'ua and linebacker David Adamo. All but Adamo are starters.

I didn't go to class first semester Freshman year and I got through 6 credits. (. . . barely)

Boise State -12.5

Boise State leads the nation in total offense and scoring.
Boise State defense isn't that bad either ranked 21 in the nation only allowing 18.7 pts per game.

Boise, ID (Sports Network)-- More often than not in the WAC, when a school has a great offense, the defense usually lags behind and plays just well enough to get the offensive unit back on the field to run up the score. However, that was not the case with the Broncos in 2002. The scoring defense ranked 21st in the country by allowing just 18.7 ppg, one of the best point differentials in the nation. The run defense was particularly stingy in giving up a shade over 106 yards per contest, 14th best in Division I-A, and allowed a mere eight rushing touchdowns in 13 games. A big part of that unit was Quintin Mikell, who made 92 tackles (5.5 TFLs), broke up 10 passes and forced an amazing eight of the team's 10 fumbles. Andy Avalos had the high mark with 94 tackles for the Broncos, while Chauncey Ako registered 9.5 TFLs and a team-high five sacks. So while Boise State didn't disrupt a lot of plays in the backfield, it rarely allowed anything to develop once a ball carrier reached the line of scrimmage.

Colorado State -3.5

62.6: Yards per game allowed rushing by TCU, the nation's best defense against the run.
214.7: Colorado State's rushing average per game.

Something has to give. I think Colorado State will get the better TCU's defense not only on the ground but through the air. TCU wont only have to worry about Colorado State's runningback Cecil Sapp (1495 yds this season) but their quaterback too. Bradlee Van Pelt (Passed for 2,049 yds, 10 td's--Rushed for 825 and 11 td's) is the Donovan McNabb of college football.

Air Force +11.5

The battle or the running games. On one side you have the "Untouchables" which seemed to be very touchable in games against Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Texas A&M. On the other side you have the best running game in the nation averaging 314.8 yds per game.

I don't think Virginia Tech is that great, that they can beat Air Force by 12 pts. Especially after losses to Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and West Viriginia (which two out of the three teams proved to be that good).

Air Force's option game is going to be the killer for Viriginia Tech, few teams have been able to slow it down let alone stop it.

Good luck to all of you and a Happy New Year if I don't get on here again within the next day.
