first off, I am on absolute FIRE!! I've hit 2 plays in a row. that's right.
George Washington (-1.5) 4 units. gw is a solid team, but they struggle with fullcourt pressure. I don't think they'll see too much of that tonight. biggest concern for me is that the colonials may be looking ahead to saturday, when they play st. louis.
Clemson (-4.5) 2 units. I think the tigers will find the going a little bit easier tonight against a wolfpack team coming off that devastating loss at 'cuse. also, they may be out for a little payback after nc state won in littlejohn on a 3 at the buzzer last year. i'll probably play the over in this one, too.
iowa st (-5.5) 1 unit. the cyclones are struggling right now, going 5-5 SU and 1-9 ATS their last 10. but they've gotta feel like they can run the table the rest of the way. I think we'll see their best effort in a while in a nice revenge win.
texas tech (+7) 2 units
(ML) 2 units to win 5.5. the red raiders have quietly started playing decent basketball. they've covered 8 of their last 10. and they've won 3 of their last 4 home games, including twice as a dog. they might just catch Kansas looking ahead to a revenge game against texas.
st johns (-9) 2 units. if you were ever unsure about how much the head coach means in college basketball, look no further than the butler bulldogs. wow. don't look now, but the johnnies have won 8 of their last 9 and covered 6 of their last 7. hopefully they aren't looking ahead to Saturday, when they get a shot at revenge against villanova.
