I love this game!!! Mismatch at almost every position IMO. TJ Ford will have his way and James Thomas should do well vs. Colorado's big men. Texas has won 9 of the last 10 with the only loss coming @ Kansas by a mere 3 points. (Kansas actually played well in this game but Texas had its chances to win). They are 5-1 in a very tough BIG 12 conference. Rick barnes is undefeated vs Colorado since coming to Texas (6-0). Texas is 2-0 ATS as an away favorite, 9-3 ATS overall, and has covered the last 6. In Big 12 play the have beaten Baylor on the road by 11, Okl State by 13 (most recent game), Iowa State by 20, Missouri by 21, and A&M by 28. Losing only to Kansas in Jayhawk country by 3. They lost @ Arizona by a mere 3 as well back in December when they were ranked #1, (had every chance to win that game as well.) Colorado on the other hand has lost last 2 and 4 of the last 6. They are 7-8 ATS and have covered the number only twice in the last 6. Oh and did I mention they haven't beaten Barnes since he has been at Texas. Colorado is going to be a competitive team down the road and should continue to win at home against the likenesses of the (K. States, Iowa States, Baylors, and Aggies of the world.....but they are not there yet with this Athletic, Quick, Longhorn team......yea, yea, yea they beat Kansas.....but Kansas looked the sister of the blind in that game.....I hope those Hoosiers that I so much love land in Kansas' bracket!!!!!
Florida @ Kentucky
Two teams that are rolling with Florida winning 14 straight and Kentucky getting 10 straight. Kentucky has covered 5 of the last 5 ATS and have won by an average of 16.5 pts in their 10 winning streak. They are 10-7 ATS overall and 4-4 as home favs. Florida is 3-0 ATS as an away dog.....actually they have only been underdogs 3 times this year and look what the results were.....@Mississippi St. they were (+7) the gators won by 8pts, @Maryland they were (+5) they won by 5pts, and @Kansas they were +3 and won by 10pts.....that is some serious stuff right there.....sure seems to me that this YOUNG team does well on the road as underdogs to high ranked teams.....BUT this time around they are the ones ranked as the BIG BOYS......The Curse of #1.....Florida has lost 4 of the last 5 vs the Wildcats and are a pitiful 6-40 in Lexington overall....they have only covered the number 1 in the last 6 games.....Kentucky is very tough on Defense and that place will be rockin as they get the AP #1 tonight........I would lean towards Kentucky and have been all day, but 4.5 is still a little steep for me......Everyone that I have seen is on Florida, which makes me like Kentucky even more.....I have seen both teams play quite a bit this year and I really believe Kentucky could be a FINAL FOUR team but these FROSH have not been rattled in places like Miss St, Maryland, and Kansas.....If I was to play it, I would have to go small on Kentucky.....BUT FOR ME PASS....WOULD LOVE TO SIT BACK AND ENJOY THIS ONE, BUT I WILL BE AT THE MAVS GAME SEEKING REVENGE ON SACTOWN!!!!
