GT (-2.5) over Clemson

The yellow jackets have flat out stunk on the road this year (6 out of their 7 loses are on the road). STILL Those loses are to some good teams (Kansas, Gonzaga, UNC, Duke and Maryland). Clemson is coming into tonights contest with a huge win over Maryland. IMO GT is a better team than Clemson and should be able to beat them even without Elder. Luke Schenscher has to pick up his game. He will have a big height advantage tonight but his unaggressive style is killing his performance. Both Schenscher and Jack should be enough to lift Tech over the tigers.

ND (PK) over BC
Tough game to call. BC has great inside players, but ND has great outside shooters. Looking at the Irish they have talent inside with Francis, Cornette and Latimore. BUT their inside talent is not as strong as Smith and Dudley for BC. The problem for BC is in the match up with Falls (IMO best 3 point shooter on ND). If BC stays with their line-up then Dudley or Smith have to guard Falls. Falls should be able to get open looks and if he is hitting his shots it will be a long night for BC. But on the opposite side Falls doesn't have the size to body those players in the post. Still ND plays well at home and they should be up for this game. There is a lot of unnecessary pressure on BC being undefeated and trying to stay that way. The ND 3 guard line-up also creates space for the for their post players. Francis has to continue his strong play and have a huge game against Smith!

Sucked me in.....

Ill (-15.5) over Mich
Have to think that even a bad night from Ill will beat Michigan by this margin. After seeing Michigan vs. Ohio st there are some highschool teams I would lay 15 with against Mich! Without Horton the wolverines don't have a scoring threat and they commit too many turnovers. This is a sucker play because Michigan has everything to play for and nothing to lose, while Illni might be looking past this game. Still IMO Illinois can run all over this team. Hopefully upperclass leadership gets players focused tonight and the Illni roll!
