Roy O vs. Russ O.

I like Roy. As evidenced by Monday's games. Hitters are a little off in their timing. How will this affect this game?
(Well, this side of Montreal it seemed to be anyway). I believe that both sides may struggle. The Astros lineup has been in a funk lately. However, it can be argued that this might be due to tired bats. Alou, who in past years has faded down the stretch whenever he has played a full season, and Biggio surely have shown this trend. I think that the rest will really help the lineup. Berkman's bat has been cold and so has Hidalgo's. Both were hampering minor injuries. This certainly will help.

The Giants were relatively hot -- notably Bonds and Aurilia. However, that was a week ago and in Colorado. They really need these games at home, and I expect D. Baker to use his bullpen in a close game at the first signs of trouble when the Stros may get to Ortiz say the 3rd time through the order.

I see Oswalt pitching a strong game. He will go right after Bonds and he has some wicked stuff. He has been cruising lately, and expect a fresh bullpen to be there to pick him up. Trend has been to play the Stros and the Under with him on the mound and I see no reason to not play this one here.

I think the Stros will win in a close one...say 3-2, 2-1, 4-2 or the like. Can't see the 6-5 game going here with the strengths of the best two bullpens in the NL and the team's number one starters, (well Houston's anyway -- SF really has no ace).

The Play -- 1 unit each

UNDER 8 +100
