Well after a tough nite, 1-3, that started out looking so promising I'm at 15-13 over the past two weeks and a disappointing -$582. That's what happens when you lose Best Bet chalk. Lost my first consensus play last night with Atlanta who after bumbling in the first inning dominated the rest of the game but couldn't push over a run.

Here's what I like today:

Atlanta $500, -155, BEST BET- Going to jump right back on the horse that threw me. Glavine's been unhittable. Amazingly enough better on the road with an ERA of .82 and whip of .841. Lohse probably won't give up many runs either so the under wouldn't be a bad look. But the Braves bats should come through with at least 3 runs and tonight I think that's enough.

Los Angeles $300, -145 - Daal was a stud earlier in the year and rounding back into form. Dodgers generating tons of offense so even if he's not stellar I think they can give enough run support to carry the day.

Oakland $300, - 1 1/2 -120 - Too much chalk and violates my philosophy of betting anything over -175 but can't pass this up. Zito is the A's stud. REally starting to pitch well. He's undefeated at home and the A's have a 5-1 record over the Brew crew. The bats are starting to produce and that's a dangerous combo when you have solid starting pitching. Zito only gives up a couple tonight as the A's cover the 1 1/2.

Parlay

$100

Atlanta under 8.5o
Los Angeles
Oakland - 1 1/2

A couple of live dogs that I think deserve a look are Colorado and St. Louis. Alot of people like Pittsburg so I won't jump on that bandwagon.

Good Luck
