5 plays today so far. Small losing day yesterday for a YTD record or 12-9 +5.45

Reds +1.5 runs +130

Oswalt is a nice rookie, and Reyes seems to be a stiff, but Houston is just not hitting the ball. I'll take the 1.5, still get the dog price, and expect the Reds, who saw this dude last week, to hit this guy and keep it close.

Marlins +1.5 -105

Beckett makes his ML debut tonight for the fish. He has very nice stuff, and although his minor league competition doesn't compare, I think he can pitch in the bigs. Lieber struggled a bit in his last outing to this same team, so he definitely is hittable. I'll take the 1.5 runs once again and expect young Beckett to keep the Marlins in it.

Royals +165

Suppan has won 3 of 4 and the Angels have essentially slid themselves out of any playoff hopes losing 4 straight.

Brewers/Pirates UNDER 9.5 EVEN

Scott Packard is behind the plate, and he loves to call strikes. Look for the pitchers to be stronger than normal after the doubleheader yesterday and for this to stay under.

Texas/Minny UNDER 11 -115

Look for Milton to be strong tonight and for Bell to rebound and get out of his funk. 11 is a liberal number, and I think it stays under.

I said 5, but one more...

Red Sox +1.5 runs EVEN

Fossum is a nice little lefty, and I will back him and the home dog Red Sox here. Colon has had a down year for him. There's not much guessing with Colon as he is just going to flat bring it. Unlike Mussina Sunday night who almost pitched the perfecto against these Sox. Even odds getting 1.5 at home, I will take it. Good luck on your plays.

Six five, be careful of playing the red sox they are in a funk plus there's alot a bitching in the clubhouse with good guy Nomar leading the way. Team fired well liked pitching coach John Cumberland after Mussina's 1 hitter.

As soon as the New Owner(s) Are picked, the Duke w1ll be fired(It's about time).

FWIW

Good Luck

skulldog,

what's the real scoop on cumberland's booze issue? nobody hears much of what's really going on with him down here in dc. i guess he got let go a few years back because he was a boozer and then they gave him another shot... he goes again for some personal confeidential problems.... what's the story? of course players are friendly with him being the BP pitcher and stuff -- isn't that the first thing you learn when you start throwing BP and being the bullpen guy? Dont get friendly with the coaches, only with the players -- it happens everywhere, I think. It doesn't seem like the media down here has the right spin on everything. Just wondering what the take was in beantown. thanks.

Wondo, I like to a have a larger myself now and then and the why Mr. Cumberland's face looks, he likes them alot more than I do!!

The media is all over the duke up here and rightfully so, he blames everyone else for his shitty moves and his 104 million dollar payroll(higher than the yanks. I heard Cumberland on the radio today saying that Jimy williams did a great job w/the PLAYERS THAT THE DUKE GAVE HIM, he was basically bashing him left and right, he was proably shitfaced.

Enough ranting and raving, try sports radio weei(www.weei.com).

3-1-1 on the day (plus a cancel with the RedSox pitching change) for a +2.65 units

YTD 15-10-1 +8.10

8zero8, do u think I would fade another? True fading is going against every play indescriminately. I only play a game if I like it too.
