We're supposed to get some pretty bad weather shortly, which would be a regular day I guess for you guys up north; but for down here it could be ruff for a while. Just got a text from the local power guys saying that they have already brought in over a 100 extra guys for help (could lose power for 3 to 5 days); so if I don't surface for a few days that could be the reason.

GL Cruncher. Same weather forecasted for here as well, it's already snowing/freezing rain on the beach areas moving inland, so we should see a winter wonderland by 2-3 pm EST today.

Leaning Creighton and Wichy State, looking at LSU a lil, line opened low and will rise with Blue money but LSU years back when Shaq attack played were a huge dog, like 11 pts and LSU had the game won then went into OT, but still covered, but lost to UK. Wish I could remember who played for LSU then, LOL!

Little south of New Orleans oneaday. It's usually pretty nice year round down here, I could have been in shorts yesterday, but we can have some cold spells occasionally from Jan to early March. Just hoping we don't lose power, that's no fun.

It's starting to rain down here now Bill and getting colder, should be some ice and maybe snow later on. Not for sure how those games will go but one thing for sure you won't catch me going against Creighton or Wichita St. As for Ky/LSU, well the 3 of us go back a long ways; I've seen many memorable games between the two over the years, both in foots & bball, and seen everything imaginable happen, although LSU usually dominates in football and Ky usually returns the favor in hoops. However, I think LSU could have a chance for the upset tonight; it will probably come down to who brings their A game. Neither team is nothing special at the foul line, Ky seems to have a slight edge in the shooting department, but LSU is one of the few teams that can hang with Ky in the rebounding and blocks department, plus LSU is 9th in steals while Cats are 329th so Ky will need to keep their cool and protect the ball in a hostile environment. But Kentucky has so many guys they can bring in and throw at you. I've got Cats by 5 on predicted score but only 2 another way. I'm usually at this game but not this year, probably best with weather and all and would have to transverse Atchafalaya basin bridge and take chance of becoming Alligator bait if car ended up in wrong place!...Looking forward to the game.

I've been to Houma Mr B but it's been a while, but don't think it was to far away if I remember correctly. I guess I'm East of you a little, past Belle Chasse a little on way to Venice and Gulf. I just hope we have power to watch the game.

Just saw on a Kentucky website where LSU campus is shut down because of ice, but game will go on. Surely they are going to let people on, probably a stupid question.
