Think Buckeyes have good shooters and better inside game.Plus they play better defense.Dials inside should score.Stockman from the outside.Owens is the Coogs best player.But Penders likes that transtion game and don't think he has the horses to run that offense.[yet]
Marist +5 over Bonnies ***
Foxes lost a tough game to Bama-Bir by 1.They led the whole game.Brady the former St Joes coach has the Foxes shooting 3's from everywhere.Jordan is a solid pt gd.Farmer,Stilphen,are frosh starters.But Whittington a soph hit 3's from all over. Marist is No 3 or 4 in the nation in 3's shooting at 45%.
Bonnies best player Lottin is still hurt and might play some tonite.They are young,can't shoot and there defense is bad.
Foxes can win this outright.
North Texas -2.5 over NC Wilma **
NT has athletes.Hopkins is a solid gd.Watkins can shoot.Jones and Thomas inside.Can't let the close Bama loss make them look good.Like I said the other day,Bama played a lot of guys off there bench and the score was closer then it should of been,
Wilma plays great defense.But don't think they have the offense to keep up with NT.
Texas Tech -3.5 over TCU *
E Tenn St -2 over Marshall ** Smith is a stud
MAAC games
Fairfield -11.5 over Elon *
Tough game.Gai inside.All those midget gds and Bell and Maxwell.Lyr Stags won by 4 or 5 in NC.Stag defense gave Miss St problems.
Manhattan -4 over URI *
MC w/o Flores. Tough game also.But frosh sensation CJ Anderson could make Jasper fans forget Flores.Mulligan has become the leader.
URI is missing uts best player in Robinson.Former Conn Hazelton can hit from anywhere.Think Jaspers win this by 6 or 7 pts.
Yest got killed by Rutgers win over NC Char.
RU wins outright.With no frontline they play 4 gds at once and it worked.Char up 1st half by 12 or 13.Then Sheilds and co come back.
Char shot 10-26 from the FT.RU was 13-14.
Bad job on my part capping.Lost Princeton too in OT.Pushed with Yale.
