0-1
Tulsa has a lot of replacing to do from last season....including the mastermind of that high powered attack, Guz Malzahn, their head coach last year, along with their top QB, RB, and WR.
Dont under estimate Tulane based on last season either. They got hit with the injury bug fast and hard, but all you have to do is look at their 1st games.....losing by only 6 @ Alabama to open the season, and taking East Carolina down to the wire at home in week 2.
Andre Anderson is a next level RB for Tulane and he can run just as good as anyone in that conference.
He along with an experienced defense, might be able to keep Tulane in it.
Tulsa on the other hand, is still going to have that high powered attack, and they bring in GJ Kinne who was a highly touted QB coming out of high school....he was recruited by Texas, after all.
It will be interesting to see how he plays in this high powered attack, he is a dual threat and has a lot of weapons to use.
I still would lean towards Tulsa I think, but I'd be very aware that Tulane can keep it very close.
I dont think this is a 14 point game, as the spread suggests....I think Tulane is either keeping it very close, or completely getting blown out of the water.
With no preseason its tough to base picks on anything but pure speculation, after all, look what happened to Oregons "high powered offense" last night.
Will make a pick before kick off....good luck
