Turf Races???Weather???

Well guys, it has been raining here all day.They say more rain for friday and Saturday.
Will they take all the turf races off the turf??? Many scratches??? What do you guys think??

They'll probably run the turf events no matter what, unless it pours. At this level, any horse not scratched will have a shot. You only scratch when you're stock won't run or the concern is safety.
A good payday can be had if the horse goes as far as 5th or 6th.

I heard a track dude on the radio saying that they were letting the grass grow an additional 1 1/2 inches in case it rained...?

I would think, that longer grass would only make it more slippery...but what the Fcuk do I know about that?? :mj07:
