Jimmy Johnson - 1.20
Rusty Wallace

Jimmy Johnson has tested very well and practiced up and down.
Wallace has been lost since switching to Dodge. It will continue to show in this qualifying race.

360/300 Jimmy Johnson

35 finishing spots make us winners.....the following are much better cars going into the race....

I think Green will be in the top the whole race.....but will anybody go with him on the last few laps....you've got to have partners on this track. GL

I frankly do not follow auto racing, but a guy who seemed to know what he was talking about said that Johnny Benson had a shot to win Daytona. Anyone know about this guy and his chances? I saw him out there at 40-to-1.

johnny benson, not outside the realm of possibility as he was running pretty well as last years season ended and daytona has been a track where he at times over-achieved even during his underfunded unsponsored days. however even with this his best finish at daytona is 10th, and imo something bad has to happen to the dynamic duo of jr/waltrip for anyone else to win (which is always a possibility of course in the restrictor plate races)
