TWINS/ATHLETICS Under 8 +100 ? Barry Zito is now 10-3 on the year, and he may have been the hottest pitcher in the AL prior to his uncharacteristic blowup vs. the Mariners last week. Prior to that start in Seattle, he had reeled off 6 consecutive Quality Starts, with a 1.88 ERA and a fantastic WHIP of 0.91 over those starts. The Twins are batting just .244 vs. southpaws this season, as opposed to .291 vs. right-handers, so I look for Zito to get back on track tonight. Reed is also coming off of a tough outing, at home vs. the White Sox. However, Reed has pitched his best ball on the road this season, where he has a 3.71 ERA and a miniscule 0.98 WHIP in 43.2 innings. Opposing batters are hitting just .235 against Reed on the road.
