Tampa Bay, the majors' worst team, is 5-0 against Minnesota this year and has outscored the Twins 26-10.

Rick Reed (1-2), acquired from the New York Mets July 30, had his worst outing with the Twins -- lasting just 2 1/3 innings in his fourth AL start. He hit three batters, gave up eight hits, six runs, a walk and struck out one. Reed, who has an ERA of 7.45, has allowed an astounding 39 hits in 19 1/3 innings.

and REED was supposed to solidify the rotation????
